Meditation and Anxiety: Can You Breathe Your Way To Inner Calm?

It sounds so easy doesn’t it? So simple. Just breathe. Except, you know it’s not. When you have anxiety, slowing down and letting go can be a challenge. You’re hearing meditation can help. But also, you know sitting still and doing nothing for thirty minutes or an hour just isn’t how you’re wired.

You don’t even need to turn your camera on. I’ll share my experiences with anxiety, how meditation helps, and also what to do when your mind is running away from you.
We’ll talk about different types of meditation. It’s not all sitting in silence or chanting. I promise. And as a trauma-informed meditation teacher, we’ll also get serious about how meditation may not be for everyone and some tips for knowing when it’s working for you, and when it’s not.
