Yoga for Chronically ill Bodies: What do you need to know?

Your doctor/therapist/friend/some rando on the internet suggested yoga to you…now what?

You’re interested, but also a bit intimidated. After all, you’re struggling with your health condition every day. You don’t have time to research something new, let alone change clothes and go to the gym. But you ARE curious.

Welcome! You’re in the right place. Join me on Tuesday, February 8 at 7pm Central (Or sign up and catch the replay. I understand!) And I’ll break down the myths surrounding yoga for chronic illness and give you real talk about yoga, what it can do for you, and what it can’t.

We’ll spend about an hour together over zoom. No camera required. Wear your comfiest pajamas, bring your delicious beverage of choice, and we’ll sit around talking about bodies that don’t always behave and yoga. We will NOT be doing any yoga during this time, so no need to worry. I WILL provide information about my favorite poses and the replay will be available for about a week after so you can watch later and take notes if you want.

Don’t worry. I won’t be pushing you to join anything or buy anything. This isn’t a “sales call” in any way. It’s just you–and me–and some honest discussion about ways we can help ourselves, and also perhaps who yoga isn’t the best for. You get to decide. It’s your body after all, and you know it better than anyone.
